Job Summary
The Gatton Student Center STEPS Facilities Event Specialist reports directly to the Student Center Operations Specialist and performs set-up and breakdown to ensure safety and efficiency for all meetings and events in the UK Student Center and select other locations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborating with Event Management Office, directs student employees in proper setup
Responsible for transporting equipment and materials to and from specified locations including picking up and delivering goods, furniture and staging, loading, delivery, unloading, and placement / installation of all event equipment and materials
Coordinates with the Event Management Office to provide equipment, furniture and materials for various University-related meetings and events
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Knowledge of stage setup a plus.
